About Us
The congregation, as its name suggests, is a new congregation, from the union of Peterhead Old Parish Church and Peterhead Trinity Parish Church. Boddam Parish Church (just a few miles south of Peterhead) had earlier merged with Trinity Parish Church. Now these three congregations are one!
We enjoy spending time with the Lord and one another, growing in God's love, serving our community together, and sharing the gospel with the world.
We welcome you to join us on a journey of faith!
Bible Study
Throughout the year, we host Bible studies for all ages on various books of the Bible that are relevant to Christian life and faith. Everyone is always welcome to join us! No prior Bible study experience is needed!
Choir
Meeting weekly from September through June, the choir prepares an Introit and an Anthem for worship each Sunday. Supplemented by friends from other fellowships, they provide a musical programme for midweek meetings in the community and further afield.
Church of Scotland Guild
The Guild meets monthly from October through to March. They invite guest speakers ranging from local clergy to missionaries at home on furlough to Christian music groups. There is always tea and a ‘fine piece’. The Guild members are responsible for leading worship on one Sunday each year. They also host an annual fund-raising event to support Guild Projects.
Girls Brigade
Meets weekly during school term-time. They take an active role in their annual Dedication Service, leading part of the worship and support other events in the church calendar. They also meet with other Girls Brigades in the Buchan Division.
Prayer
All are welcome to meet in the vestry Sunday mornings from 9:30-10 am before worship. If you have prayer requests but cannot attend, please feel free to pass them along to Rev. Julia or a member of session. You do not have to feel comfortable praying out loud to join us. You can sit quietly and listen to others pray and pray silently.
Senior Ladies Fellowship
Meeting fortnightly from September through April, the Senior Ladies invite guest speakers to reflect the interests of this diverse group. This fellowship attracts ladies from other churches in the town as well as some with no church connection. There is always tea and a ‘fine piece’.
Work Party
Partnering with God Cares, this group meets weekly to collect and send supplies to school children in Ekwendeni in Northern Malawi.
